Latest COE prices for Cat A to E from LTA's results, price history since 2010, and how often recent exercises closed within your budget.
The table on this page shows the premium for each category from the latest exercise in LTA's data on data.gov.sg, refreshed each time the site is built. OneMotoring publishes results on the Wednesday evening each exercise closes.
Twice a month. Exercises usually run from noon on the first and third Monday to 4pm on Wednesday. LTA publishes the year's schedule on OneMotoring.
Cat A is for cars up to 1,600cc and 97kW (130bhp), and fully electric cars up to 110kW (147bhp). Cars above those limits need a Cat B COE.
The open category. A Cat E COE can be used for any vehicle except a motorcycle, so its premium tends to track the higher of Cat A and Cat B.
Every successful bidder pays the lowest successful bid in their category, called the quota premium. Bids are ranked from highest to lowest until the quota is filled.
10 years. After that you can renew it by paying the Prevailing Quota Premium, a moving average of the last three months of COE prices, or deregister the vehicle.
No. It shows past results only. The next premium depends on the quota for the quarter and how many people bid. Use the range to see how a budget fared in recent exercises.
S$10,000 for Cat A, B, C and E, and S$1,500 for Cat D motorcycles. Individuals must be 18 or older and can make one bid per exercise.
