Estimate your monthly electricity bill at SP Group's Oct to Dec 2026 tariff of 31.16 cents per kWh with GST, from your kWh, home type or appliances, and compare a retailer's plan.
From 1 October to 31 December 2026, SP Group's regulated household tariff is 28.59 cents per kWh before GST, or 31.16 cents with 9% GST. That is 3.32 cents, or 10.4%, lower than the July to September 2026 tariff of 31.91 cents before GST.
Every quarter. SP Group reviews it under guidelines from the Energy Market Authority. The energy cost part follows natural gas prices in the first two and a half months of the quarter before.
Multiply the kWh you used by the tariff, then add 9% GST. An HDB 4-room flat using SP Group's average of 391.33 kWh pays S$111.88 before GST and S$121.95 with GST this quarter.
SP Group's averages per month are 145.92 kWh for an HDB 1-room flat, 284.64 kWh for 3-room, 391.33 kWh for 4-room, 460.73 kWh for 5-room, 545.72 kWh for a condo or apartment and 844.17 kWh for a terrace house.
It depends on the price you are quoted and on where SP's tariff goes next. A fixed price stays the same for the contract while SP's tariff moves every quarter. Enter the quote here and check it against the current tariff before you sign. This page does not recommend any retailer.
Yes. U-Save is first used on SP Group's non-electricity charges such as water, gas and refuse. Whatever is left goes to your electricity bill from the retailer. HDB households get double the usual U-Save in FY2026.
Watts x hours a day x days, divided by 1,000, gives kWh. A 1,000 W air-conditioner used 8 hours a day for 30 days uses 240 kWh, which costs about S$74.80 with GST at this quarter's tariff.
