The 2026 Basic, Full and Enhanced Retirement Sums, the CPF LIFE payout CPF Board gives for each, and what you can withdraw at 55 from your own OA and SA balances.
S$220,400 for members turning 55 in 2026. It is twice the Basic Retirement Sum of S$110,200. For those turning 55 in 2027 the FRS is S$228,200.
S$440,800, four times the BRS. Budget 2024 raised the ERS from three to four times the BRS so members can put more into their Retirement Account for higher payouts. In 2027 it is S$456,400.
CPF Board puts it at about S$1,780 a month from 65, or S$2,380 if you start at 70, for a male member on the Standard Plan who sets aside the 2026 FRS. With the BRS it is about S$950, and with the ERS about S$3,440.
If you have set aside the FRS, you can withdraw any amount from your Ordinary Account. If you have not, you can withdraw S$5,000 from your OA. If you own a property with a lease that lasts to at least age 95, you can pledge it and keep just the BRS and withdraw the rest.
CPF opens a Retirement Account and transfers your SA and OA savings into it up to the FRS. Your SA is then closed, and any SA savings left over go to your OA.
It lets the property count for up to half the FRS, which is the BRS. You keep the BRS in your RA and can withdraw RA savings above it. The property must be a completed home in Singapore with a remaining lease that lasts you to at least 95.
No. If you have less, CPF uses what you have to pay you CPF LIFE payouts, and the payout is smaller. You can top up your RA with cash or CPF transfers, up to the ERS, to raise it.
