Work out your yearly MediShield Life premium after Premium Subsidies by income per person and annual value, Merdeka or Pioneer subsidies and rebates, on the April 2025 tables.
It depends on your age next birthday. From 1 Apr 2025 the yearly premium, including GST, runs from S$200 for ages 1 to 20 and S$503 for 31 to 40, to S$1,326 for 66 to 70 and S$2,826 above 90, before subsidies.
Households with a monthly income per person of S$3,600 or less, living in a home with an annual value of S$31,000 or less, and owning no more than one property. Citizens get 15% to 60% depending on age and income. PRs get half the citizen rate.
Add the gross monthly income of everyone in the household and divide by the number of family members. A household of 4 earning S$8,000 has S$2,000 per person.

Merdeka Generation seniors get an extra 5% from 60 to 75 next birthday and 10% from 76, on top of Premium Subsidies. Pioneers get 40% to 60% depending on age. Both apply whatever your income or home.

If you have a listed serious pre-existing condition, such as cancer or a past stroke, you pay 30% more for the first 10 years. After that you pay the standard premium for your age.
An Integrated Shield Plan includes the MediShield Life part, and your insurer tells you your full premium. This calculator covers only the MediShield Life part.
