See which CPF housing grants you can get for a BTO or resale flat: EHG up to S$120,000 by income, the Family or Singles Grant, PHG and Step-Up Grant, on HDB's 2026 tables.
Up to S$120,000 for first-timer families and up to S$60,000 for first-timer singles. The lower your average monthly household income, the bigger the grant. Families get S$120,000 at S$1,500 or less, falling to S$5,000 at S$8,501 to S$9,000.
S$9,000 a month for first-timer families and S$4,500 for a single buying alone. For a couple with one first-timer and one second-timer, half the household income must not exceed S$4,500.
Yes. From 24 Aug 2026 the ceiling to buy a BTO flat, get the CPF Housing Grant for a resale flat or take an HDB loan rose from S$14,000 to S$16,000 for families. For singles aged 35 and above it rose from S$7,000 to S$8,000. The EHG ceiling stayed at S$9,000.
For first-timer families buying a 2- to 4-room resale flat, S$80,000 if both are citizens and S$70,000 for a citizen and a PR. For a 5-room or bigger flat, S$50,000 and S$40,000. A first-timer and second-timer couple gets S$40,000 or S$25,000.
A grant for buying a resale flat to live with or near your parents or married child. Families get S$30,000 to live together or S$20,000 to live within 4km. Singles get S$15,000 or S$10,000. There is no income ceiling.
First-timers can get the EHG on a BTO flat. The Family Grant, Singles Grant and PHG are for resale flats.
S$15,000 for second-timer families moving from a 2-room flat to a 3-room flat in a non-mature estate, with household income up to S$8,000.
Yes. You or another core buyer must have worked for 12 months in a row before applying for the HDB Flat Eligibility letter, and still be working when you apply.
