The S$500 opening credit and the S$4,000 Mid-Career credit do not expire. The one-off S$500 top-up from 2020 expired on 31 December 2025.

Citizens aged 40 and above on 1 January 2024 got it in May 2024. Citizens who turn 40 later get it at the end of January in the year they turn 40.
For self-sponsored learners, up to 70% on Tier 1 courses and 50% on Tier 2. Citizens 40 and above get the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy: up to 90% on Tier 1 and 70% on Tier 2.
Yes, at 9% if the provider is GST-registered. On Tier 1 it is charged on the fee after the baseline subsidy; on Tier 2 on the full fee. Your credit can pay the GST too.
No. The credit is for Singapore Citizens. PRs can still get the baseline course fee subsidy.
No. Submit the claim on MySkillsFuture before the course start date. The credit is paid to the training provider.
